What parents tell us on day one

  • He's on his phone the moment homework is done.
  • She's bright but can't sit still or focus for long.
  • There's an older boy at school who keeps picking on him.
  • I've tried gyms. I want something with meaning and structure.

Within a few months, the same families describe something different. These are the six changes our masters train for, in every class, at every age.

Discipline

Bowing in, lining up, listening first. Respect on the mat quietly carries over to home and the classroom.

Confidence

Each new form and belt is earned in front of peers. Shy students learn to stand tall and speak up.

Strength and flexibility

Kicks, throws and sword drills build real fitness, balance and mobility without machines or screens.

Real self-defence

Practical escapes, blocks and awareness drills, practised safely with partners until they become instinct.

Focus in school

Memorising kata trains attention span. Many parents notice calmer study time within the first term.

Calm for adults

Breathwork, Aikido, Iaido and Kendo practice leave working professionals fitter, less stressed and more self-assured.

In January 2026, Golden Dragons conferred the title Tiger of Martial Arts on actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who trained in Kendo under our founder.

On the same occasion he received the Fifth Dan from Japan's Sogo Budo Kanri Kai and was inducted into the Takeda Shingen Clan's Kenjutsu lineage under Soke Muramatsu Sensei, at a sword investiture ceremony held by Keninkai International.

Beyond the dojo

We promote Japanese culture alongside the martial arts, through Indo-Japan festivals, Japan Week at IIT Hyderabad and cultural programs at EFLU Hyderabad.

From first class to black belt

A clear path, so students and parents always know what comes next.

  1. Book a trial

Pick a batch and a time. Your first class is free, and loose sportswear is all you need.

  2. Assessment

A master checks fitness, flexibility and goals, then talks you or your child through the right batch.

  3. Join a batch

Train with students of the same age and level. Uniform and a progress card are given on joining.

  4. Belt progression

Grading every four months, with clear syllabus goals for each belt from white to black.

Forty years of demonstrations

From army grounds to college auditoriums, these moments from our archive show the strength, control and trust our senior students build over years of training.

Breaking and endurance feats are performed only by senior black belts under the founder's supervision. They are not part of regular classes.

Questions parents ask

Still unsure? Call or WhatsApp us on +91 98850 44250 and a master will answer.

What is the minimum age to join?

Children can join from age 5. We place them in a 5–8 or 9–12 batch after the trial assessment. There is no upper age limit for adults, and we adapt training for older beginners and anyone with injuries.

How much are the fees?

Fees depend on the program you join. Call or WhatsApp us on +91 98850 44250 for current fees. Your first trial class is free.

What are the class timings?

All classes are held in the morning. Regular sessions run from 7:00 to 8:00 am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a longer session from 7:00 to 9:00 am on Sunday. There are no classes on Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

Is it safe for my child?

Yes. Every class starts with a structured warm-up, sparring uses certified protective gear, and contact is introduced only when a student is ready. Our masters are first-aid certified and the mat area is padded and supervised at all times.

Do we need to buy a uniform?

Not for the trial; comfortable sportswear is fine. On joining, we will tell you which uniform and equipment your program needs and where to get them.

How does belt grading work?

Gradings are held every four months. Students are invited once they meet attendance and syllabus goals for their belt. Each grading tests kata, techniques, fitness and conduct, and parents are welcome to watch.
