KENDO

With the dawn of new century the year 2000, in December 1999, for the first time in India we have started promoting KENDO, & presenting the art and sport of Japanese fencing called KENDO before the public by demonstrations and conducting seminars under the banner of KENDO INDIA FEDERATION, registered by the Government, Sponsored & Promoted by GOLDEN DRAGONS ASSOCIATION, established in the year 1986 to promote Japanese Sportive Martial Arts in India.

Kendo (剣道 kendō. "sword way") is a modern Japanese martial art, which descended from swordsmanship (kenjutsu) and uses bamboo swords (shinai) and protective armour (bōgu). Today, it is widely practiced within Japan and many other nations across the world.

Kendo is an activity that combines martial arts practices and values with strenuous sport-like physical activity.
